A killer example of the Custom Shop '60 reissue Les Paul Special. Formerly owned by Stevie D of Buck Cherry and used as one of his main touring guitars. Upgraded to Stevie’s spec with a bone nut and replacement P90’s. With a Lindy Fralin hum cancelling P90 in the bridge position and possibly another Lindy Fralin in the neck. Whatever, both pickups sound absolutely awesome and are very well matched. The guitar shows plenty of minor marks and lots of lacquer checking from its time on the road. If you’re after a mint example, this one ain’t for you. If you’re looking for a great playing, fantastic sounding Custom Shop Les Paul Special, you’ll do well to find a nicer one! Complete with Gibson Custom hard case and certificate of authenticity.
